Art is for Everyone
Open Art is a program designed to develop authentic creative expression in individuals through a variety of mediums. Open Art takes place in a group settings, and can be enjoyed by all ages. The fourteen component modular program can be customized to fit any group’s timeframe and needs.
The program develops skills, communications, and sensibilities around these main areas:
- Theatre
- Movement/dance
- Photography
- Writing
- Reading
- Painting/drawing
- Sculpture
- Community and family
At the end of the program, participants host a multimedia art show for their family and friends, with performances and art gallery viewing experiences.
Costs
The costs range from $140-$200 per student, depending on the duration and scope of the program. A typical after-school program runs 13 weeks, for 2 hours a week; cost per participant is $150 for this program and includes all materials.
